Message from Team KIA Elite:

It is with a very heavy heart that we write this unfortunate post. We, Team Kia, are all shocked and extremely sadden by the sudden passing of your beloved friend and team mate, Ruan.

We are still trying to process this ourselves. Ruan was a true team member who always contributed positively to our team. Ruan always had the teams best interests at heart. He loved spending time riding and was always willing and eager to learn and grown. He was an extremely talented young sport...sman and we were honored to have him in our team!

Not only was he a great cyclist and team mate but he was also a true friend to all of us. We will never forget his big smile and all the great times that we shared together with him. He will never be forgotten.

Ruan will be sorely missed by all of us but he will be remember with every pedal stroke, every attack, every sprint, every team ride, every race finish and every coffee that we have.

To Ruan’s parents, siblings and family, you are in all our thoughts and prayers. Not only today, but in all the days to come. We send you condolences, love and support.
Ruan will Forever be in our hearts and memories.
